The trip was a great opportunity for the girls. The planning of the trip did not impress me. THE CONS: -The trip agenda was not published until the day of travel. -Unable to select seats and use app for BA flights, despite several contacts with rep. -Group rate flights were not a price advantage. -Hotel in Milan (B&B Ornato) is sub-par. -We did not get to see the game between Inter Milan and AC Milan. Instead, we watch a U20 boys team. -Preplanned food arrangements were low budget, easy, and lacked variety. -The buses to free time activities did not leverage our time wisely. THE PROS: -The guides, Alberto and Paul, are absolutely wonderful. -We did get to Italy and the girls got to play soccer and make friends. -It will be memorable for our girls. I had much higher expectations for this trip than what was delivered. This trip will sour me from using a third party travel planner. I don't feel like I got my money's worth. I would expect reps with prompt follow-up and problem solving. I would expect stay accommodations to be at least a +4.0 reviews. If meals are going to be planned, then I would expect them to be deliberate in creating a unique travel experience. I'm not asking for 5-star dining, just some broad experience that affords the experience of travel. I would also expect that days are not started at 10am or 11am. Missing the first half of the day after traveling half-way around the world seems fraudulent. Overall, the trip was a success. We traveled to Italy. We stayed safe. We loved Italy. We returned home safe and on time.

The trip was a blast for my son and myself. He really enjoyed every second of it. The staff was really great. We would definitely travel again!

Overall it was a good trip. Tirsa was very helpful and organized, the accommodations were good, with good breakfast and rooms. Transportation was good. A couple of things that I would have liked different: the first team we played in Portugal was not good at all, no matching uniforms and poor facility. The other two were ok and facilities top. We particularly enjoyed having a three man officiating crew on our last game. Believe me, it makes a big difference! I would have also liked more dinners included and less lunches..
